The F5.44 system comprises F5 wall brackets (stainless steel), vertical L and T profiles (aluminium) and horizontal supporting hanger profiles (aluminium). The hangers are mounted on the back of the panels using undercut anchors or special dowels. These can then be hooked into the horizontal hanger support profile, height-adjusted and fastened.
The system has the advantage that the lower and upper panels are supported with a single horizontal hanger profile. This uses less material and saves assembly time. Concealed fastening also allows consistent aesthetic facade designs.
F5 stainless steel wall brackets offer lasting advantages: their low thermal conductivity reduces heat loss to a minimum. This ensures stringent energy requirements for building envelopes are complied with ‒ to Passive Haus standards.
The brackets and horizontal and vertical profiles are connected using screws, with fixed and sliding connections to guarantee free expansion. The wall bracket design holds the vertical profiles in place whilst fixing, without the requirement for additional tools, speeding up the installation.
The wall brackets are available in lengths from 100 mm to 320 mm and supplied with thermal insulators. The system is suitable for all types of fastening and will compensate for up to 40 mm of unevenness along the length.
